As a new student who has never enrolled in college before and is new to Red Rocks Community College, you will learn a lot about 吃瓜第一线 while you participate in orientation and prepare to enroll in classes.

If your plan is to transfer to a four-year institution in Colorado, check out the Bridge to Bachelor鈥檚 Degree Program. The Bridge to Bachelor鈥檚 Degree program ensures first-time students attending any of CCCS鈥檚 13 colleges are guaranteed admission to a participating four-year college or university upon completion of an Associate Degree.

    Please have your camera on and a government-issued photo ID or your high school ID ready. It鈥檚 also helpful to have your student ID number on hand. . You can join a Zoom session Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am-12pm and Fridays 1pm 鈥 4pm.

  • If you took the SAT or ACT in high school within the last five years, send your high school transcript to Student.Records@rrcc.edu (most high school transcripts include test scores).
  • If it鈥檚 been over five years, take the Accuplacer Test or a self-assessment.


  • Meeting with your Pathway Advisor is recommended prior to registration. An Advisor will help you select courses, identify course prerequisites, obtain program information, evaluate placement results, assist with transfer planning to a four-year college or university, and prepare you for graduation.

New Student Orientation (NSO) is your official introduction to our college community. This essential program is designed to help you transition smoothly into college life, providing you with all the tools, resources, and connections you need to start your academic journey on the right foot. 

Your student email address will end in @student.cccs.edu.

  • Student ID Procedure - ID's available at the Student Life Desk.
  • Get your student ID from the Student Life offices at both the Lakewood and Arvada Campuses: Monday 鈥 Thursday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Appointments are encouraged and walk-ins may be accommodated. For evening hours, please make an appointment request through Navigate.
